An independent Board of Trustees, composed of 11 members who are specialists, experts, and prominent figures in the community, oversees USAL.<\/span><\/p>

The Board of Trustees is the highest authority in the university. It approves the university's strategic plan, policies, and regulations, and is responsible for appointing the president, vice presidents, and deans of the faculties. It also makes important decisions related to the academic, financial, and administrative aspects of the university, and approves the recommendations submitted by the University Council within the framework of the adopted rules and regulations.<\/span><\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

The Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs oversees the relevant operations at the University, such as development and quality assurance, human resources, accounting and finance, digital media, communication, information technology, and archiving. They are also responsible for overseeing the financial operations. They are concerned with developing the institution in terms of establishing systems and policies, and ensuring compliance with them, in addition to managing the automation of all the University's systems and procedures to facilitate the administrative work.
