Examinations Office
The Examinations Office at the university is responsible for managing and organizing mid-term and final examinations for students and overseeing their proper conduct. It is also responsible for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the examinations.
Tasks of the Examinations Office
- Planning Exams: This includes scheduling exam dates, assigning rooms, determining student seating arrangements, and preparing supervisor schedules.
- Managing Exam Logistics: Ensuring compliance with applicable instructions and guidelines.
- Processing Exam Results: Supervising the accurate recording of results while maintaining confidentiality and data protection measures.
- Providing Support and Guidance: Assisting all participants in the process and addressing any issues that arise.
Examination System
A student receives an F grade if they do not take either the mid-term or final exam. In exceptional cases, a student may take a makeup exam if they have a compelling excuse, provided they submit a request approved by the department head and validated by the dean of the faculty within one week from the exam date.
A student is not allowed to take a specific exam for a course more than once.

During the Exam:
- Students must be present in the exam room 10 minutes before it starts.
- Students are not allowed to enter the room after the designated start time unless permitted by the head proctor.
- No extra time can be granted to students arriving late after the exam has begun.
- Students are not allowed to leave the room after the exam starts for any reason.
- Students cannot submit their exam paper until half the allotted time has passed.
- Students must leave their bags, books, and papers away from their exam seat.
- Students must present their university ID when requested by the proctor without objection.
- Students must remain quiet and avoid any actions that may disrupt the examination process.
- Students are not allowed to use tools or documents not authorized by the course instructor.
If a student believes their grade in the midterm or final assessment is unfair, they may submit a petition request within two weeks from the date the results are issued to the department head.
Any cheating or attempt to cheat during exams will lead to the cancellation of the exam. If a student is caught cheating, they will be referred to the disciplinary council, which will impose sanctions according to the adopted policies and procedures.
