TYPES OF FINANCIAL AIDS

Stemming from the University’s values and in line with the mission of the parent institution, Al-Mabarrat Charitable Association, which draws its performance from its founder, the Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah (may he rest in peace), the University, in cooperation with Mr. Muhammad Khalil Dager, launches the “Dr. Khalil Dager University Scholarship Program” for university students.

The aim of this program is to assist a number of distinguished students who are unable to complete their university studies at USAL in various programs, in order to provide the community with promising talents that enable it to rise up and overcome the current and future crises.

A 100% scholarship is granted to outstanding students who have achieved a high grade in the official exams of the Lebanese Baccalaureate.

The scholarship covers registration fees, additional fees, and credit fees for all academic semesters.

The scholarship does not include courses that the student has to repeat after failing.

The scholarship does not cover the category of students benefiting from other scholarships from external entities.

To maintain the scholarship for a given semester, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

The scholarship is based on a clear set of criteria for selecting the benefiting students, based on the student’s social and academic status, and a special committee from the University administration is formed to follow up on the fulfillment of the conditions and the final approval of the proposed candidates.

USAL offers scholarships ranging from 30% to 100% specifically for students of public secondary schools, in order to assist them in completing their university studies, in preparation for entering the job market with high efficiency. The scholarship program includes the following financial aids:

The financial aid amount is decided based on an application submitted by the student to the Student Affairs Office. The application is validated through an interview and the applicant, and then transferred to the Grants Committee for final approval.
