On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon -USAL, through its Health and Social Care Office, and in collaboration with the “Wajd” Club and the Health Authority, organized “Hearts United 2.” The event brought together mental health professionals and students, with the participation of Lebanese football figures Captain Bassem Marmar and Captain Haitham Faour.
Through interactive activities and awareness stations, the event encouraged students to prioritize mental health, develop strategies for managing stress, and build supportive relationships. The guest speakers also highlighted the role of sports in promoting physical and psychological well-being and developing personal and social skills.
This initiative reflects USAL’s commitment to fostering a supportive university environment and promoting mental health awareness, while encouraging students to seek support whenever needed.
