Language Remedial Courses

The university offers a set of remedial courses aimed at developing the language skills of its students, in the areas of: reading comprehension, written expression, listening comprehension, and conversation in English, Arabic, and French.

In case the student does not achieve the required total score in the placement test, they must successfully complete one or more levels of the remedial courses before registering in any of the mandatory language courses at the university. The credits of these remedial courses are not counted towards the total credits required for graduation.

These courses enable the student to use the acquired language skills in studying their university courses, and in the field of training in the job market.

Other Remedial  Courses

Registering in some university majors requires prior knowledge that may be found lacking according to the results of the placement tests. In such cases, the student must complete the necessary remedial courses provided by the university in subjects such as statistics, mathematics, sciences, and computer science before registering in the related courses in the specialization.

Bridging Courses

Students holding a Technical Baccalaureate certificate are also required to study some complementary courses specified by the Ministry of Education in Article (4) of Decision 779/2013, according to the program they wish to enroll in.
