Office of Health and Social Care
The Office of Health and Social Care is one of the administrative departments at the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL). It is dedicated to promoting students’ physical, psychological, and social health and well-being, and to providing a safe and supportive university environment. The office also works to foster a culture of inclusion and respect for diversity within the university campus.
The office offers an integrated range of programs and services, most notably
- Organizing health and awareness campaigns
- Managing health education and preventive health programs
- Managing files of special and chronic health cases within the university community
- Providing psychological and social counseling and support services to students
- Offering referral and follow-up services when needed, in coordination with relevant entities
- Managing and organizing psychological awareness and education programs
- Identifying students’ special needs
- Coordinating with relevant entities to follow up on necessary accommodations for students when required
The office receives students’ requests with complete confidentiality and encourages all students not to hesitate to seek support or consultation whenever needed.
