Student Complaints
The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon – USAL considers the filing of complaints to be a right of its enrolled students, whether the subject relates to academic or non-academic services provided by the university, or to issues of discrimination or mistreatment by an academic or administrative entity. The university ensures that the student will not face any discrimination or hardship as a result of filing a complaint, and it guarantees the confidentiality of the submitted complaints, as the addressed entity is the sole authority authorized to access the content of the complaint along with any appointed personnel for follow-up.
Students can submit complaints via the complaint box located in the university lobby.
Before submitting a complaint, the student should note:
- The number of complaints filed during the academic year should not exceed four.
- Only the designated form for complaints should be used.
It should be noted that the student has the right to appeal to a higher authority if they are dissatisfied with the outcome of the follow-up.
To submit a complaint, the student can fill out the form and place it in the complaint box at the university.
The student will be informed of the results of the complaint follow-up within a maximum of two weeks from the date of submission.
