The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, received a delegation from the Al-Mabarrat Association and University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL ), headed by the Association’s Director General and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammad Baqer Fadlallah.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the educational experience of Al-Mabarrat’s educational institutions and highlighted the University’s role in supporting the community during times of crisis, in addition to its partnerships with local community organizations and public institutions.
Minister Karami, for her part, praised the University’s commitment to higher education regulations and policies, commending the educational and academic role played by both the University and Al-Mabarrat’s educational institutions.
During the meeting, the University also presented a project aimed at supporting public schools and secondary schools and expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Center for Educational Research and Development (CERD) to train educational staff on implementing the updated curricula in a number of public schools located in the vicinity of the University.
Minister Karami also welcomed the University’s invitation to participate in the memorial ceremony honoring its former President, the late Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah.
This meeting reaffirms the commitment of USAL University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon to its academic and community mission, as well as its role in supporting the development of education and strengthening community service.
