USAL Hosts Seminar on Transformative Care for Children Affected by Trauma

University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon- Faculty of Education organized an interactive session titled “Transformative Care: Supporting Children Affected by Trauma in Times of Crisis,” presented by Professor Nidal Jouni.

The two-hour session witnessed strong engagement from participants, with rich discussions and hands-on activities. It explored the impact of early trauma and adversity on children, particularly amid Lebanon’s ongoing crises, highlighting the three pillars of transformative care: safety, connection, and adaptation.

The session concluded with practical strategies designed to help teachers, counselors, and caregivers build safe and supportive environments that enhance children’s psychological well-being.
