The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) organized an awareness-raising and practical activity entitled “Everyone Has a Role” on the occasion of Global Media and Information Literacy Week, aiming to enhance information verification skills and promote responsible and informed engagement with digital content.
The activity was delivered by Dr. Moussa Dirani, Dr. Maryam Hussein, and Dr. Zeinab Slim. It featured practical exercises involving circulating news, images, and videos, highlighting the importance of evaluating sources and information credibility, applying critical thinking before sharing content, and combating the spread of media misinformation.
