USAL Joins Al-Rahma High in Celebrating 20 Years of Culture

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL), Dr. Mohammad Rida Fadlallah, represented by the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Nasri Harb, Al-Rahma High School inaugurated its annual Cultural Week and Book Fair under the theme “Twenty Years… and the Book is Our Light.” The event was attended by the school’s principal, Mrs. Soulaf Hashem, along with cultural and social figures, school principals, students’ parents, and members of the administrative and teaching staff.

In his speech, Dr. Nasri Harb emphasized the pivotal role of reading in light of the challenges posed by the digital age. He extended his appreciation to the school administration and the teaching and administrative staff for their remarkable efforts in organizing this cultural week.

For her part, Principal Soulaf Hashem noted that this year’s Reading Week carries a special significance, as it commemorates twenty years of a vibrant relationship between students and books. She affirmed that the growing interest in borrowing books reflects the depth of this connection. She also highlighted that the week provides an inclusive interactive space for students, their families, and teachers, enhancing a spirit of culture and dialogue.
