Journalist Mohammad Farhat Bridges the Gap Between Media Theories and Practice at USAL

As part of its ongoing efforts to connect academic knowledge with real-world application, the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon-USAL hosted journalist Mohammad Farhat for an interactive talk within the course Introduction to Communication Theories. The session offered media students a valuable opportunity to explore how communication theories are applied in today’s dynamic media landscape.


During the hour-and-a-half discussion, Mr. Farhat shared key highlights from his professional journey, shedding light on the challenges facing journalists in the modern media world and the opportunities that technology offers for developing innovative media content. The session witnessed active participation from students, who engaged in a thought-provoking dialogue about how theoretical frameworks can be translated into practical approaches across different media environments.
