The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) concluded the final round of its Internal Debating Championship, organized as part of the university’s efforts to promote a culture of constructive dialogue and critical thinking among students, and to develop their skills in expression and logical argumentation.
The results of the final round led to the qualification of the Opposition Team to the next stage, following an outstanding performance that reflected a high level of preparation, persuasive ability, and structured engagement with the debated issues.
During the closing of the championship, the top four speakers were also announced. Distinguished by their rhetorical performance and intellectual presence, they were selected to represent the university in the National Debating Championship, in a step that reflects the university’s commitment to supporting talented students and empowering them to participate effectively in national and international academic forums.
The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon reaffirms its commitment to continuing the organization of purposeful intellectual and student activities that contribute to building students’ character and enhancing their leadership and communication skills.
