USAL and AFH Unite for Media Literacy and Digital Skills

A partnership between the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon and the Arab Fact-Checking Community aims to strengthen media literacy among students of the Media Department and keep pace with the rapid transformations in the digital environment. This collaboration includes organizing specialized workshops to develop digital verification skills and combat misinformation, in addition to providing practical training opportunities that allow students to apply these skills in real-world settings.

This initiative comes as part of the university’s commitment to preparing a new generation of qualified media professionals who can critically navigate the flow of digital information and address the challenges posed by modern platforms, thereby enhancing media awareness and credibility in journalism.
