A delegation from the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon-USAL conducted an introductory visit to the office of Minister of Public Health Dr. Rakan Nasser Al-Din, aiming to present an overview of the university, its academic programs, and community initiatives, as well as to brief the minister on the university’s key student-led projects.
During the meeting, the delegation invited the minister to sponsor and attend the graduation ceremony of the university students within a comprehensive training and awareness project. The project aims to move from theoretical awareness to practical field work, preparing university students to become awareness ambassadors and initiative leaders in their communities, and to promote preventive culture in schools and secondary institutions, thereby enhancing the role of youth in positive social change.
The university thanked the minister for his attention and support of student and community initiatives, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the educational and health sectors to strengthen preventive awareness and disseminate knowledge among the upcoming generations.
