USAL Delegation Engages with India’s Ambassador to Lebanon
A delegation from the University of Sciences and Arts Lebanon (USAL) visited His Excellency Mohammad Noor Rahman Sheikh, India’s Ambassador to Lebanon, at the embassy headquarters in Hamra. The delegation comprised Dr. Nasri Harb, Vice President for Students’ Affairs; Dr. Yasser Fadlallah, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Ms. Malak Harkous, Administrator of the Communication Office.
During the visit, the delegation presented an overview of the university, including its faculties and undergraduate academic programs. They highlighted the university’s scientific and research achievements, as well as its academic development and partnerships. The two sides engaged in discussions about potential cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, focusing on the social roles they can play in serving the community.
The team also shared USAL’s commitment to providing students with an enriching environment and activities that foster personal growth. The participants emphasized the importance of establishing academic and cultural collaborations that benefit students and enhance their competitiveness in the labor market.
In conclusion, the delegation expressed gratitude to the ambassador for his support of the university and his participation in the cultural day event titled “Lebanon, Where Civilizations Meet.” This event featured displays from various countries, with the student team representing India earning first place for their presentation of Indian civilization.
