Signing a Collaboration Agreement with Université Saint Joseph

Cooperation Agreement to Enhance Special Education in Lebanon

The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon, represented by its president, Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah, has signed a cooperation agreement with Saint Joseph University in Beirut, represented by its rector, Professor Salim Daccache, S.J., and the Syndicate of Special Educators in Lebanon, represented by its president, Dr. Asma Mjaes Azar.

This agreement aims to enhance collaboration and foster cultural, scientific, and technical exchanges among the three parties as educational partners. It seeks to strengthen the role of special education and develop relevant curricula at both universities in partnership with the syndicate. Under the terms of this agreement, the two universities will exchange educational resources, publish scientific research, and create a joint course or training module for students at both institutions. This course will include an overview of the special educator’s profession and professional ethics, as well as insights into the educator’s roles and skills.

The parties have also agreed on several initiatives to further strengthen their partnership.

This agreement marks a significant step in our commitment to advancing special education and fostering collaboration that benefits our students and the community.
