“Linguistic Stations”… An Interactive Journey into the Arabic Language at USAL

As part of its celebration of World Arabic Language Day, the Library of the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) organized an interactive language activity entitled “Linguistic Stations: A Journey into the Language of Ḍaad”, on Thursday, December 18, at the library.

The activity aimed to enhance the status of the Arabic language among students and to develop their linguistic skills through an interactive approach that combines knowledge and enjoyment. Participants moved through seven language stations featuring a variety of activities, including word meanings, “Who Said It?”, correct pronunciation, sentence correction, crosswords, fill-in-the-blanks, and advanced-level linguistic riddles.

The event witnessed strong student engagement, reflecting their interest in the Arabic language and their enthusiasm to test and develop their linguistic abilities in a positive and competitive atmosphere. At the conclusion of the activity, the winning teams were honored and presented with symbolic prizes inspired by the spirit of the occasion.

This initiative is part of a series of cultural activities organized by the University, reaffirming its commitment to supporting linguistic and cultural identity and to promoting interactive learning beyond the traditional academic framework.
