About the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF)

The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie is considered one of the leading international Francophone university networks, bringing together hundreds of universities and academic and research institutions from around the world. The agency works to support cooperation among higher education institutions, promote scientific research and innovation, enhance the quality of university education, and encourage academic and cultural exchange within the Francophone and international academic sphere.

The cooperation between University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie comes within the framework of the university’s vision to strengthen its international academic presence and engage with global higher education networks, contributing to:

  • Developing the academic and research environment.
  • Enhancing scientific and cultural cooperation with international universities and institutions.
  • Supporting innovation and academic exchange of expertise.
  • Expanding opportunities for participation in international programs and projects.
  • Improving the quality of higher education and connecting the university with global academic initiatives.

This membership provides various opportunities for students, faculty members, and administrative staff, including:

During the coming phase, the university will work on activating its cooperation with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie through participation in academic programs and activities organized by the agency, in addition to developing joint cooperation projects with universities and international institutions within the AUF network.

The university will also continue to inform its students and faculty members about available opportunities and initiatives, including conferences, workshops, training programs, and academic and research activities that contribute to strengthening the university’s presence within the Francophone and international academic sphere.
