USAL Conducts First Aid Training in Collaboration with Al-Resala Association

The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon -USAL, in collaboration with the Risala First Aid Association, organized a specialized training course in first aid, with the participation of a group of students from various majors. The program aimed to equip them with essential skills for responding to medical emergencies and to enhance their readiness to manage critical cases on and off campus until specialized teams arrive.

The course covered a range of training modules focused on the fundamentals of first aid, emergency assessment, rapid response mechanisms, and basic life support (BLS). It also addressed recurring health issues that students may encounter in their daily lives. This training enabled participants to gain practical and comprehensive skills that contribute to strengthening their role in promoting safety within the university community.

The program concluded with the Emergency Awareness Day, during which trainees presented a series of awareness stations to share the knowledge and experience they had acquired with their peers. The activity highlighted the importance of proper response to medical emergencies and encouraged a culture of social responsibility across the campus.
