The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL), under the supervision of Dr. Laila Shamseddine, instructor of the Media Program Production course, organized a field visit for Media Department students to Satlink Media Production Company. The visit aimed to follow the preparations for recording an episode of the program “Chat Show” and to enhance the students’ practical skills.
The visit included a meeting with media professional Ali Hassan, the program’s producer and presenter, as well as the program’s director and the founder and president of Satlink. Students were introduced to the stages of media program production—from concept development to broadcasting—and learned about filming and directing techniques inside the company’s studios.
This visit comes as part of the department’s efforts to integrate academic learning with practical training, helping students develop their skills and prepare to meet the demands of the job market with competence and professionalism.
