The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon has officially obtained membership in the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, one of the most prominent international university networks in the Francophone world, bringing together hundreds of universities and academic and research institutions worldwide.
This step reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening its international academic presence, expanding avenues of scientific and cultural cooperation, and further reinforcing its openness to global higher education networks in line with its developmental vision in education and research.
This membership comes as part of the university’s efforts to develop its academic environment and engage with international higher education networks, enabling broader opportunities for academic exchange, research collaboration, and participation in programs and initiatives organized by the AUF in the fields of education, innovation, and academic development.
This membership is expected to provide additional opportunities for students and faculty members to participate in conferences, workshops, training programs, and capacity-building initiatives, as well as to benefit from joint academic and research projects at the international level.
USAL affirmed that this step aligns with its vision of enhancing international cooperation and improving the quality of higher education, thereby strengthening its presence within the Francophone and international academic sphere.
