Students from the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon -USAL – Department of Media participated in the program “Saray Dialogues” organized by Télé Liban, which hosted Dr. Haneen El-Sayed, Minister of Social Affairs. She presented her vision for developing the ministry and transforming it into a Ministry of Social Development, highlighting the key features of the ministry’s new strategy.
The university was represented by the students: Laila Keserwani, Liliane Alam, Marwa Faqih, Mohammad Khair El-Din, and Adam Al-Saeed, under the supervision of Dr. Laila Shamseddine, reflecting their professional excellence and ability to actively engage in national issues.
The episode included extensive discussions involving academics, social activists, and students from various universities, making USAL’s participation particularly notable in this dialogue platform. Additionally, the department’s students conducted an exclusive interview with the Minister of Social Affairs at the end of the episode.
This participation comes as part of the university’s efforts to promote a culture of citizenship among its students and develop their skills in direct engagement with national programs and dialogues.
