As part of the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon’s (USAL) commitment to enhancing opportunities for its students and graduates and strengthening cooperation with public-sector institutions, the University participated in the Matchmaking Platform Open House organized by the Ministry of State for Administrative Reform at the Behavioral Innovation and Digital Transformation Lab (Bind-Leb).
USAL was represented at the event by Ms. Malak Harkous, Director of the Office of Communications, and Ms. Mariam Shukr, Director of the Career Office. They explored the platform and its mechanisms, as well as the opportunities and projects offered by ministries and public institutions to students, graduates, academics, professionals, and experts.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to learn more about the Ministry’s initiatives aimed at connecting young talents and skills with the needs of the public sector, while opening new pathways for students and graduates to gain professional experience and contribute to projects and initiatives with meaningful professional and community impact.
In this regard, USAL reaffirms its commitment to introducing its students and graduates to the platform and encouraging them to register and benefit from the available opportunities, thereby enhancing their professional readiness and expanding their prospects in the labor market and public sector.
The University’s participation also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on potential areas of future cooperation between USAL and the Ministry, contributing to the development of practical and sustainable partnerships and strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and the public sector in support of youth and national development
