The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon-USAL took part in the national conference organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the theme: “Towards a National Strategy for Sports in Lebanon”, in collaboration with the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS). The event was held at the Phoenicia Hotel with wide official and diplomatic attendance, led by the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, along with ministers, ambassadors, and representatives of sports federations and international organizations.
USAL was represented by the Coordinator of the Physical Education Program, Mr. Hussein Alaa El-Din, on behalf of the University President, Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah. He participated in the conference sessions and discussions that focused on the development of the sports sector and the formulation of a comprehensive national vision to advance sports in Lebanon.
This participation reflects USAL’s commitment to supporting national initiatives, enhancing the role of academic institutions in advancing sports education, and reinforcing the presence of sports as an essential pillar in community and academic policies — contributing positively to students, society, and the overall educational environment.
