Student Qusay Al-Akaleh from the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) has achieved a notable accomplishment in the field of cybersecurity after successfully identifying a security vulnerability during a technical assessment. The issue highlighted a potential data exposure risk within a system associated with IBM.
The student conducted a detailed analysis of the system’s behavior before responsibly reporting the vulnerability through the official disclosure channels. The issue was subsequently confirmed by the company, which began taking the necessary measures to address it.
This achievement reflects the student’s strong analytical and systematic thinking skills in cybersecurity and highlights the level of excellence demonstrated by USAL students in modern technology and cybersecurity fields.
