As part of its commitment to staying abreast of technological advancements and preparing students for future work environments, a group of students from the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon-USAL took part in the “Cybersecurity Day 2025” event, held at the Lebanese University – Hadat Campus. The event was organized by Semicolon Academy in collaboration with GDG Coast Lebanon.
During the event, students had the rare opportunity to directly engage with a distinguished group of cybersecurity experts and professionals. They attended presentations and panel discussions covering the latest global trends in the field—from data protection and artificial intelligence to network security.
Participants also joined hands-on workshops that simulated real-world cyberattacks and response strategies, equipping them with practical skills and enhancing their technical and security awareness. This experience enabled students to broaden their professional networks and explore potential job and internship opportunities in this critical and rapidly growing industry.
Students reported that their participation in Cybersecurity Day expanded their academic and professional horizons and boosted their confidence in entering this evolving field.
This initiative aligns with USAL’s vision of fostering openness to the job market, linking academic disciplines to practical realities, and empowering its students to become pioneers in their chosen fields.
