Silent Grief: An Interactive Session to Promote Mental Health Awareness

The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon -USAL organized an interactive session titled “Silent Grief: The Loss of People, Places, and Dreams,” as part of a series of initiatives aimed at supporting mental health and raising awareness about the impact of loss in times of crisis.

The session brought together a diverse audience, including school and secondary education teachers, parents, and university students. It was marked by an open and engaging atmosphere, with active dialogue and the exchange of experiences and ideas among participants.

The session addressed the concept of silent grief as a form of unexpressed sorrow, highlighting its impact on daily life and ways to ease its burden through understanding and mutual support.

The strong participation reflected the attendees’ interest in discussion and engagement, within a framework that enhances psychological awareness and paves the way for future initiatives supporting mental health within both the university and school communities.
