A delegation from the Lebanese Democratic Youth Forum visited the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon -USAL to offer condolences on behalf of the President of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Prince Talal Arslan, following the passing of the late University President, Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah. The delegation expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of a prominent academic and educational figure.
The delegation was received by University President Dr. Nasri Harb, in the presence of the university vice presidents, where attendees reflected on the late president’s academic and humanitarian journey, and his key contributions to the development of the university, strengthening its role in serving society and enhancing its academic standing.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to discuss the current political and security challenges and their impact on the continuity of higher education. Participants emphasized the importance of resilience in facing difficult circumstances and the need to enhance cooperation and integration among all concerned parties to ensure the continuity of the educational mission and the stability of the academic environment.
The delegation affirmed that the late Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah represented a model of dedication and educational vision, leaving a scientific and humanitarian legacy that will remain present in the university’s academic and social journey.
