Toward Sustainable Health Awareness: Awareness Projects by Health Education Students

As part of its efforts to promote health awareness and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals , the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) launched a series of distinguished awareness projects and activities within the “Health Education” course, under the supervision of Dr. Maryam Humaidan.

These initiatives focused on the concept of healthy and balanced nutrition, highlighting its direct relationship with physical, mental, and social health, as well as its broader impact on the community.

The activities varied between workshops, interactive presentations, and educational materials, all aimed at emphasizing the importance of healthy dietary behaviors in preventing both communicable and non-communicable diseases. These efforts contribute to improving individuals’ quality of life and enhancing public health in general.

This initiative reaffirms the essential role of health education in driving positive change and raising public awareness toward a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
