As part of its ongoing commitment to providing a supportive and stimulating academic environment, the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon -USAL organized an orientation meeting for new students for the 2025–2026 academic year, held on campus in the presence of representatives from the faculties and academic departments, as well as several members of the teaching and administrative staff.
The meeting opened with a welcoming speech delivered by the university administration, which greeted the new students and emphasized the importance of the university stage as a crucial step in building their academic and professional future—an opportunity for self-discovery and skills development within a supportive university environment.
The Student Affairs Office presented a comprehensive overview of the university’s academic and administrative systems, registration procedures, and student regulations, in addition to guidance on the various academic, social, and health services provided to students. Attendees were also introduced to several offices and centers that contribute to supporting the student journey and providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.
As part of the event, a presentation was given on the student clubs related to the different majors, encouraging new students to participate in university life and engage in activities that foster leadership, teamwork, and a sense of belonging and initiative.
The meeting concluded with a guided tour around the university campus, during which students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the academic and administrative facilities, laboratories, and classrooms.
