Institutional Visit of USAL to the Catholic University of Paris for Academic Cooperation

The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon conducted an institutional visit to the Catholic University of Paris Institut Catholique de Paris in France, represented by Dr. Moustapha Fortunato from the Faculty of Education. This visit is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and expand its network of partnerships with prestigious higher education institutions.

This visit follows up on the existing cooperation between the two institutions, as the university had previously signed an academic cooperation agreement with the Catholic University of Paris. This step reflects its commitment to developing international relations and activating strategic partnerships in line with its academic and research objectives.

During the visit, meetings were held with several representatives of the Catholic University of Paris, including Prof. Fabienne Serina-Karsky, Vice-Dean and Director of the Center for Studies and Innovation, Dr. Eva Salerno, Maître de conférences, and Prof. Augustin Mutuale, Dean of the Faculty.

These meetings provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional acquaintance between both sides, follow up on the implementation of the previously signed agreement, and discuss ongoing research initiatives, as well as explore new areas of cooperation, including joint academic projects, exchange of expertise, and the development of future academic programs.

The meetings also concluded with an agreement to continue coordination and hold follow-up sessions in the coming period, in order to transform the agreement into concrete and effective collaborative projects that contribute to advancing joint academic work between the two institutions.
