Ramadan Iftar at USAL with Trustees, President, and Staff

 

In an atmosphere of brotherhood and harmony, the University of Science and Arts in Lebanon  organized a Ramadan Iftar on the evening of the 26th of Ramadan at Al-Saha – Lebanon Heritage Village. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammad Baqir Fadlallah, the University President, Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah, along with members of the administrative and academic staff and their families, in a gathering that embodied the values of the holy month and the spirit of love and solidarity.

The Iftar featured a Quranic evening and Ramadan chants performed by the “Ayat” ensemble, whose melodious voices and beautiful recitations added a special spiritual ambiance to the event.

The University President delivered a speech in which he reflected on the spiritual atmosphere of the holy month, praising the spirit of unity and affection among the university staff. He emphasized that this solidarity is a fundamental pillar in the university’s journey of progress and success. He also commended the efforts of all employees in their continuous pursuit of elevating the institution and strengthening its academic and scientific standing.

For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammad Bakir Fadlallah, reviewed the stages of the university’s establishment and its development, highlighting the importance of continuously striving for its advancement, expanding its specializations, and upgrading its infrastructure to keep pace with modern educational developments. He also expressed his deep appreciation for the university community, praising their dedicated efforts and their crucial role in realizing the university’s vision and academic goals.

At the end of the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees was honored with a commemorative shield in recognition of his sincere efforts and boundless contributions to the university and its educational mission, reaffirming the commitment to the cause of education and development.

The evening also included a cultural entertainment segment featuring interactive questions presented by colleague Karam Assaf, giving attendees the opportunity to win valuable prizes, adding joy and excitement to the event.

The celebration concluded with the exchange of congratulations and well-wishes, in a warm atmosphere that reflected the Ramadan values and the familial spirit that characterizes the
University of Science and Arts in Lebanon.
