With his talent and passion for the art of coffee, Mohammad Jihad Al Mallah, a student at the University of Science and Arts in Lebanon – Faculty of Business-Hospitality Management Department, stood out brilliantly and proudly secured third place in the Barista Competition at HORECA 2025 – one of the world’s leading events in the hospitality industry.
Mohammad competed against a select group of top-tier coffee professionals and impressed the audience with his mastery of every detail — from precise drink preparation to the art of latte art, which captivated the judges.
He skillfully blended academic knowledge with practical experience, seizing every opportunity to sharpen his craft and deliver a truly creative and refined performance that reflected both passion and excellence.
It’s worth noting that HORECA is one of the most significant annual events in the hospitality sector, gathering elite professionals and experts from around the globe. The Barista Competition is one of its most prestigious highlights, requiring participants to demonstrate high-level skills, intense focus, and true artistic flair in coffee presentation.
