USAL Delegation Visits Municipal Heads to Strengthen Cooperation Post-Aggression

As part of its efforts to enhance partnerships between the university and local entities, a delegation from USAL visited the municipalities of Ghobeiry, Mreijeh-Laylaki-Hay Al-Sellom, Bourj Al-Barajneh, and Haret Hreik. The delegation met with the heads of these municipalities in the presence of deputy mayors and several municipal members. The visit aimed to assess the situation of the municipalities following the recent aggression against Lebanon. The university delegation reaffirmed USAL’s commitment to its social responsibility and emphasized the importance of close cooperation between academic institutions and local authorities to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.

In response, the municipality heads expressed their appreciation for the visit and highlighted the importance of collaborating with the university to develop innovative solutions for current challenges. They commended the university’s leading role in supporting local communities and reiterated their commitment to strengthening partnerships to leverage academic expertise in addressing various issues.

The visits concluded with both parties affirming the importance of maintaining ongoing communication and coordination, as well as establishing practical mechanisms to enhance collaboration between the university and municipalities, contributing to the sustainable development of local communities.
