USAL Launches a Blood Donation Campaign in Support of Public Health and Saving Lives

As part of its steadfast commitment to community service and the promotion of a culture of giving and humanitarian responsibility, the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon-USAL organized a blood donation drive on campus, in cooperation with Heart of Life Association and the American University of Beirut Medical Center – Blood Bank, reaffirming its humanitarian role alongside its academic mission.

The campaign witnessed positive engagement from students across various faculties, who responded to the humanitarian call with a high sense of awareness and solidarity, contributing to the support of patients in need—particularly critical cases. It is expected that this initiative will benefit approximately 111 medical cases, reflecting the campaign’s direct humanitarian impact in saving lives.

This initiative is part of a series of activities through which the university seeks to foster a culture of volunteerism among its students and strengthen partnerships with health institutions and specialized associations, thereby contributing to public health and community service.

The campaign was carried out under the supervision of specialized medical teams from the AUBMC Blood Bank and in accordance with the highest approved medical and health standards, providing a safe and reassuring environment for donors and contributing to the success of an initiative that was widely welcomed by participants and organizers alike.
