USAL University Hosts Ramadan Iftar for Educational Figures and School Principals

The University of Science and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) organized a Ramadan Iftar in celebration of Teacher’s Day, attended by educational, social, and municipal figures, as well as employees from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The event also welcomed a number of public and private high school principals from various Lebanese regions.

The ceremony commenced with a Quranic recitation, followed by the national anthem and the university anthem. A presentation video introduced the university, highlighting its academic journey, scientific achievements, student activities, and societal contributions.

During the event, graduate Mohammad Shaalan shared his academic and professional experience with the attendees, emphasizing the impact of his university studies in developing his skills.

USAL President, Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah, then delivered a speech in which he underscored “the vital role teachers play in shaping future generations.” He praised “the strong collaboration between the university, educational institutions, and local organizations in advancing society” and emphasized “the importance of providing an academic environment that fosters creativity and excellence.”

At the end of the ceremony, honorary shields were presented to the participating school principals in recognition of their efforts in leading the educational process and supporting students on their path to academic and professional success.
