In an achievement that highlights Lebanese expertise in cybersecurity, Qusay Al-Aqili, a Computer Science student at the University of Science and Arts in Lebanon (USAL), discovered a security vulnerability in Amazon’s systems. This accomplishment led the company to include his name in its Hall of Fame in recognition of his contribution to enhancing the platform’s security.
Similarly, Hassan Saeed, from the same department, achieved an outstanding milestone by identifying two security vulnerabilities—one in the LinkedIn application and another in Meta’s systems. His discoveries earned him widespread recognition from both companies, which also listed his name in their respective Halls of Fame.
This achievement reflects the excellence of USAL students in the fields of cybersecurity and technology, emphasizing the importance of supporting young talents in innovation and modern technologies.
