Student Achievement at USAL in Health Awareness

Student Dania Alawieh from the University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) – Department of Media, achieved a notable accomplishment after her awareness work was selected by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), as part of a competition launched among several universities to select the best awareness posters on measles and prevention methods.

Dania Alawieh distinguished herself through her creative designs and impactful awareness messages, which focused on the importance of health awareness and preventive guidelines related to measles. As a result, her posters were adopted and published on the official platforms and websites of the Ministry of Public Health, as well as on the official page of the World Health Organization.

This achievement highlights the role of the university in developing students’ practical skills and linking academic learning with social and public health issues, thereby enhancing students’ participation in meaningful national and humanitarian initiatives.
