USAL Organizes an Interactive Session on Sleep Problems During Times of Crisis

The University of Arts and Sciences in Lebanon (USAL), through its Office of Health and Social Care, organized an interactive awareness session entitled: “How Do I Sleep? Understanding Sleep Problems and Coping with Them During Times of Crisis,” as part of the university’s commitment to supporting students’ mental and physical well-being and providing a supportive environment to help them cope with daily pressures and challenges.

The session highlighted the importance of sleep as an essential factor in psychological balance, concentration, and the ability to adapt, especially amid crises and unstable circumstances that directly affect mental stability and academic performance. It also addressed the main causes of sleep disorders and practical ways to deal with them in a healthy and realistic manner, helping students enhance self-awareness and improve their quality of life both academically and personally.

This activity comes within a series of initiatives organized by the university to promote mental health awareness and foster a more supportive and inclusive university environment for students.
