The team of students from University of Science and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) has set off to participate in the 3rd Asia Arabic Debate Championship, organized by the Qatar Debate Center in the Omani capital, Muscat, with wide participation from universities and educational institutions across Asia.
This championship is considered one of the most prominent intellectual events on the continent, aiming to promote a culture of constructive dialogue and to develop public speaking and critical thinking skills among university students.
The university team represents Lebanon in the competition, following a series of intensive training sessions in debating and public speaking, in preparation for the multiple rounds of the championship, which cover diverse intellectual, cultural, and social topics.
The university emphasizes that its participation in this championship reflects its vision to empower students to engage in regional and international forums, enhancing their abilities in expression, dialogue, and leadership, positively impacting their academic and professional development.
