The University of Sciences and Arts in Lebanon (USAL) – Faculty of Education organized an educational event titled “Education in Times of Crisis: Strategies and Practical Approaches to Ensure the Continuity of Learning for Displaced Students in Unstable Environments.” The session was delivered by Dr. Maryam Hamidan, with the participation of approximately 100 educators, university students, and individuals interested in educational affairs.
The event served as a rich discussion platform addressing the main challenges facing the educational process in displacement contexts and unstable conditions, such as limited resources, psychological stress, and students’ interruption of schooling.
Hamidan also presented a set of practical strategies, including flexible learning approaches, psycho-educational support, and curriculum adaptation, aimed at enhancing learning continuity and ensuring students’ right to education despite difficult circumstances.
