Overview
The Teaching Diploma specialization at the Faculty of Education enables graduates holding a bachelor’s degree who wish to enter the teaching profession, as well as working teachers seeking to enhance their teaching competencies, to acquire the knowledge and skills required in the educational process. This includes general teaching methods, specific teaching strategies, educational assessment, and curriculum development, in addition to skills related to using technology in the educational process. The goals, competencies, and outcomes of the specialization are based on essential educational knowledge, as well as the attitudes and skills needed by teachers in light of contemporary requirements and international standards for the teaching profession.
To register for the Teaching Diploma, students must hold a bachelor’s degree in one of the educational subjects approved in the Lebanese curricula, or other degrees approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.To obtain the Diploma in Education, a student must successfully complete 24 credits with a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.0.
